Hello my name is Renee and I am very excited and honored to be picked as the Shawn Christian Fan of the Month by @SCOonline. Some of you know me from the Insatiable website or from Twitter where I am known as @islandma60. I am a long time fan of both Shawn Christian and of Days of Our Lives.

I first noticed Shawn when he was on As the World Turns back in the mid-nineties. I caught him while flipping through the channels and I thought he was terrific as “Mike” . As the years went by I would occasionally catch Shawn on various tv shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Ellen and Friends.

I have watched of Days on & off since 1987,when I was pregnant with my first child. However I have never been so enamored by an actor and his role until I saw Shawn’s portrayal of Dr. Daniel Jonas. He has an incredible chemistry with co-star Nadia that draws people in and he lights up the screen with his intensity and charisma. I hope we continue to see a lot of the sexy Doctor Jonas in the future on Days.

In addition to being a terrific actor Shawn has also impressed me with his charitable works. What Shawn did for the Detroit Rescue Mission was incredibly generous and I am sure they appreciated all of the time & effort he put into helping them. Shawn has been an inspiration to many of his fans like my friend Alycat, propelling her into starting the S.Christian’s Angels . Hopefully the Angels can spread their wings and help all of those in need.

This past year has been a very exciting one for me as a Shawn fan. For one even though he has a very busy schedule he still takes the time to respond to our many tweets. Sending me a “Happy Birthday” tweet was very exciting and something I will never forget . One of the highlights of this year was having a chance to meet Shawn in Detroit last November. Even though the lines were long Shawn took the time to talk and take pictures with all of his fans. Through all of this I have made lots of new friends all around the world & I actually got to meet Danloe4life,GalenShawngirl,Alycat04,tweetiekate and Bethtn09(SCOonline) while in LA for Day of Days. At the fan event in Detroit I had the pleasure of meeting frontrunner09,Shawnfan4real,Lisacola and NBO-web.

In closing I would like to say that Shawn is a fantastic actor who has a great future in the tv and movie industry. I hope that he has great success in the acting business for many years to come and I am proud to be a devoted Shawn Christian fan.
